Project Manager of Overseas Sales (April 2014 – March 2015)
I managed the overseas administrative sales team of 7 and collaborated with 6 worldwide committees to provide and facilitate students in interning overseas, achieving over 200% increase in internship counts
The problems we had in the past years were
- Miss-Targeting the customers
- Lack of Preparation
To this end, we targeted India where many workers even students are required to drive business, especially for small Japanese companies. In addition, we also targeted Southeast Asia for a similar reason. We strictly maintained the schedule to make the preparation perfect. Our conventional sales method was to start cold-call once arrived at each country, but we changed to use Skype Global Plan to make cold-call before flying to fill the whole schedule.
